What format does Court Videography Associates use for its Master/Originals?
o We videotape using professional DV format and simultaneously record a S-VHS or VHS back-up, along with a complementary audiotape for the Court Reporter. Our large format DV tapes produce digital Master/Originals not susceptible to VHS tape deterioration, resulting in longer-lasting, higher quality copies & archived evidence. o The Master/Originals are certified for authenticity, and are archived. Copies are made available for duplication & pre-trial or trial support editing.
Which Copy-Format is appropriate for our particular case?
o Copies of the Master/Originals can be obtained for your case-use on any of the following formats: DVD, VHS or S-VHS, CD-ROM, or on "CD-Sync". o DVD will be the highest resolution/quality, offering fast forwarding along with chapter markings. In addition, and are lightweight and easy to carry. Most office computers bought in the past five years can play DVD and/or CD-ROM. o Ct. Videography Associates mark all on/off record times on each DVD label. This allows for quick reference to Depo transcripts.
What is a "CD-Sync" copy?
o CD-Sync simultaneously shows the Video and the written transcript/official record, on your computer screen. CD-Sync allows you to easily highlight and save clips of your Video Deposition & its transcript. The clips can be used seamlessly with trial support software such as Sanction II, TrialDirector, and Powerpoint. o Viewing, Searching & Editing capability included on each CD-Rom
